So will someone anyone explain to me, exactly, how I am supposed to remain a Catholic and yet not believe a word that comes out of Rome, the Magisterium, or even the Pope?
No really, I want to know.
Because I see that happening a lot.
If a Catholic is supposed to believe as true everything that the Church teaches, has taught and will ever teach (keep in mind that the full deposit of the faith is everything taught in the past, the present and the future) because we are told that the church would NEVER, COULD never lie, and yet everywhere I turn, on almost every topic, I am told by someone or other that this Pope was wrong, or that Cardinal is lying, or obey this encyclical but not that one. If one cannot trust what Rome teaches, and apparently according to some, one can't, how in the bloody hell does one remain Catholic?
I want to stay a Catholic, I want to trust Rome, but everywhere I turn, I am told they lied here, or there or then or now.
Herein endeth the question

Scripture to keep in mind
Six things there are, which the Lord hateth, and the seventh his soul detesteth: Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, A heart that deviseth wicked plots, feet that are swift to run into mischief, A deceitful witness that uttereth lies, and him that soweth discord among brethren. My son, keep the commandments of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother. ***Cf:Douay-Rheims Proverbs 6: 16-20
