It has always been my understanding that the final judgement is God's and God's alone. Where we may highly suspect that some one is or will be judged to spend eternity in Hades, it is NOT our place to judge or even curse someone to hell. There are reports the Connecticut shooter committed suicide, and yes that usually suggests a Sin against the Holy Spirit, but remember that the Church and therefore God, does make exceptions in the case of mental disease or insanity (and if you think that a sane person could do what the shooter did in Connecticut, I pray that God does not judge you so harshly but grants you some compassion, and that self same mercy you are withholding from your fellow man.
For the victims in Connecticut:
Eternal Rest grant unto them O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May their souls and the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace. AMEN
Scripture to keep in mind
Six things there are, which the Lord hateth, and the seventh his soul detesteth: Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, A heart that deviseth wicked plots, feet that are swift to run into mischief, A deceitful witness that uttereth lies, and him that soweth discord among brethren. My son, keep the commandments of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother. ***Cf:Douay-Rheims Proverbs 6: 16-20
I declare that I have no intent to acknowledge, distribute or encourage anything contrary to Sacred Scripture, Sacred Tradition and the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church and the Apostolic See. I submit myself and all the contents of this blog to the judgment of the Church.
