Hallowe'en is NOT a wiccan holiday
Just because a Christian holiday falls on the same day as another holiday doesn't mean that the the Catholic Holiday started in paganism. All Saints (All Hallows Day) is a Catholic holiday, a Cathoic day to honour all the saints, canonized and uncanonized, that have achieved beatific vision. If the new converts of a centuries ago inculturated and repurposed the pagan rituals it doesn't mean the Feast of All Saints or it's Eve has pagan roots. ( As far as I know pagans don't have saints, so they can't have All Saint's Day As for certain aspects of all Hallows Eve. Trick or Treating, or dressingup or going from house to house, may or may not be remnants of the celtic Beltain or Samhain or whatever "ain" that might have existed centuries ago but any of the pagan religious connotations have long been removed and replaced with Christian overtones and undertones centuries ago. (BTW I don't care what tradition came from where- so any info you want to impart, please understand I don't care. Whatever the reason they used to do it, doesn't matter, That's not why it's done now.) So in essence all that really remains linking the two hoiidays is the date and dressing up, BTW and the dressing up of chilren came way later. Further don't know about you but ghosts ( souls ) are Christian, Vampires are Transylvanian. Frankestein's Monster comes from literature etc. Skeletons come Anatomy, Witches, and evil Queens were created by the Brothers Grimm. Animals come from nature. Oh and Superheroes are definitely not Wiccan. What I don't see are little kiddies dressed like the Wiccan god(dess) Whatever October 31 used to be called centuries ago, that isn't want it is now.
Scripture to keep in mind
Six things there are, which the Lord hateth, and the seventh his soul detesteth: Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, A heart that deviseth wicked plots, feet that are swift to run into mischief, A deceitful witness that uttereth lies, and him that soweth discord among brethren. My son, keep the commandments of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother. ***Cf:Douay-Rheims Proverbs 6: 16-20
