Arwen Hoping to Make it to Knoxville, Tennessee

Arwen has joined a after school extracurricular activity known as Destination Imagination.  There are, I believe 2 groups from her school.  Her team of seven 4th and 5th graders have named themselves D'Imaginators.

They hope to win at the school level, the provincial level, and hopefully make it all the way to the global championships in Knoxville, Tennessee, May 23-26.

I better start on the passport application.

Knoxville is right nice, a major, urban center in the middle of the Appalchian wilderness. But if you go east a few hours to Ashville, it's all hippies.

Good Luck Arwen--and be sure to eat in a place favored by locals--the food is regional, and much, much better than the franchises!

Mr. Redneck

Thank you for wishing me luck.

Scripture to keep in mind

Six things there are, which the Lord hateth, and the seventh his soul detesteth: [17] Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, [18] A heart that deviseth wicked plots, feet that are swift to run into mischief, [19]A deceitful witness that uttereth lies, and him that soweth discord among brethren. [20] My son, keep the commandments of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother. ***Cf:Douay-Rheims Proverbs 6: 16-20
