Za poll, za poll

Is Michael Voris is own worst enemy?
Or are people really out to get him?

Voris has said, on more than one occasion, in response to criticism, that, in short, people are out to get him.

A person who says that CSIS is after him (that would be the CIA for Americans, MI-5 for Brits, Mossad for Israelis, etc etc etc) is paranoid, unless CSIS (etc) really is after him.

So Here are your choices

Yes, He is his own worst enemy.
No, People really are after him.
It's a bit of both.
It's Neither
Who is Michael Voris?

Voris is in a difficult situation. His organization - and so many of us - see the 'pick and choose" application of canon law. The solution is to simply change the name of the organization... in a battle of canon law/sacramental discipline the bishop always comes out on top. By changing the name, Voris removes himself from the battlefield...

I would most definitely agree with you, except for the fact that he and Mr. Bremmer have gone on the record to say that he and everyone in the organization are obedient to canon law. If so, why not obey this one.

What he needs is to get an ecclesiastical protector. Someone who would have international jurisdiction, say, O I don't know, a cardinal in the PREFECT OF THE Supreme Tribunal of the Apostolic Signatura. Getting authorization from him, would probably shut everyone up.

If I were having as much trouble with Abp. Collins as Voris seems to be having with Abp. Vigneron, I would be out on Church St. sitting on the doorstep of the cathedral rectory. I would expect that we could settle the whole matter over coffee at Tim Horton's up the street. Of course when two bureaucracies go head to head it's likely going to get messy. Good thing we're all Catholics and we believe that personal relationships take precedence.

Hi Puff,
From what I've read, Voris does not own RealCatholicTV, but is an employee. It's been reported that the owner lives in Indiana. If this is true, the AoD does not have jurisdiction over whether or not the word "Catholic" can be used.

no, but according the the A oD Michael first went to them, and then failed to come back and meet the protocols.

Scripture to keep in mind

Six things there are, which the Lord hateth, and the seventh his soul detesteth: [17] Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, [18] A heart that deviseth wicked plots, feet that are swift to run into mischief, [19]A deceitful witness that uttereth lies, and him that soweth discord among brethren. [20] My son, keep the commandments of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother. ***Cf:Douay-Rheims Proverbs 6: 16-20
