Testing a theory

Well, here goes nothing, Okay, anyone out there know what the secret handshake is to get the Share buttons to show up under a post.

Mary333, you've got them, how did you get them

I don't remember enabling this but try this:
Go to design, hit gadgets, then click on "more gadgets". There should be a "Share it" button on there and I think this is the one that enables the blog to be shared with other social networks.

Nope that just puts a widget on my sidebar.

If I am in layout and I click the Edit at the bottom right hand corner of the POSTS box, I can click the Share button and it is clicked, but it doesn't show up.

I let blogger know, sometimes when you use the Blogger help button and send off a request, within a day or two, the blog miraculously works properly

Oops! Sorry about that, Puff. I think I'll stick to asking you the Blogger questions after this. How I even manage to have a blog I'll never know...

I personally think that the widgets work or show up depending on which template you are using.

I could check out and see which blogs have those things and then which to the same template.

Nah, that takes way to much energy for a mother of 3; that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Here's what blogger has to say about it."

Thanks for finding that. I was looking for that piece.

Since I know you have a reputation to protect I won't heap any praise upon you and leave you a simple: Thank you.

Scripture to keep in mind

Six things there are, which the Lord hateth, and the seventh his soul detesteth: [17] Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, [18] A heart that deviseth wicked plots, feet that are swift to run into mischief, [19]A deceitful witness that uttereth lies, and him that soweth discord among brethren. [20] My son, keep the commandments of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother. ***Cf:Douay-Rheims Proverbs 6: 16-20
