Why not. For the Over 40 crowd

A few years back a local TV station ran all the episodes of the Monkees. I found them strange. I personally find their music a bit easier to listen to in comparison to the Beatles. John Lennon's voice (with some exceptions) annoys me.

From that era, I would have to say my band of choice would be Creedence Clearwater Revival.

I found them strange. As with everything from the sixties (you had to be there.) Though I watched them mainly in reruns in the early seventies, but the group broke up in 71.

BTW Michael Nesmith's mother invented Liquid paper

From that era Leave it to a whipper snappper like you to make me feel really old.

I remember these guys! I watched them when I was little too! Yes, that means I am not a young whipper snapper either ;) Everyone 40 and up remembers the Monkees I think!

Musically speaking, I wish my teen years had been in the late 50's early 60's, or, the late 60's early 70's. Of course, every era has its crap.

Scripture to keep in mind

Six things there are, which the Lord hateth, and the seventh his soul detesteth: [17] Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, [18] A heart that deviseth wicked plots, feet that are swift to run into mischief, [19]A deceitful witness that uttereth lies, and him that soweth discord among brethren. [20] My son, keep the commandments of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother. ***Cf:Douay-Rheims Proverbs 6: 16-20
